Anne is a highly regarded tour guide, Italian cook extraordinaire, and lecturer on

the joys of Umbria. She has resided near Assisi for 35 yrs, lectured and created tours for The National Trust the Smithsonian, Elder Hostel and teaches Italian cooking in her home and yours. As an official Umbrian tour guide, (only 18 of 350 have ever passed the exam) Anne will bring great wisdom, wit and information as she teaches the rich culture and history of the region. There will also be a great opportunity to attend one of her cooking classes while she is in Denver.

These concerts employ an experiential approach: children participate in physical activity related to the music and directed listening through age appropriate narration, resulting in a powerful musical experience. Especially designed for children under five, these 45-minute concerts enrich early brain development and musical awareness in children, teach parents the benefits of including music in their children’s daily lives and spark a lifelong love of music.

The Festival of Faith and the Arts at Bethany Lutheran is about expressing and celebrating the divinely inspired creative spirit within each individual, fostering creative expression within the faith community of Bethany and the community at large through music, visual arts, dance, verse, storytelling, drama and more.

There are multiple ways YOU can support the Festival of Faith and the Arts and help bring the arts to this community. Your tax deductible donation helps support arts outreach, bring outstanding artists and ensembles, provide events that help the needy in the Denver community, as well as bring educational and enrichment opportunities for children, youth and adults.

Rick Seaton, Bethany’s outstanding organist, presented a concert in November, 2007.  This concert CD is available for a minimum donation of $25.00 to the Festival of Faith and the Arts. Not only will these three outstanding vocalists be performing, but they will be joined by New Dawn musicians Trent Hines, Barb Pons, Harry Olsson and John Olsson, as well as the very talented Freddy Rodriguez, Sr.! Collectively, this group of remarkable talent will tickle your eardrums, get your toes tapping, and have you swaying with every beat.

VIP tickets with preferred seating are available for $40–there are a limited number of these available, so get them early! Regular seating is $30 for adults and $15 for youth (teens and younger).
