AS OF SEPTEMBER 1, 2021:
Since Bethany Lutheran Church follows the Cherry Creek School District and the Tri-County Health Department. BLC will put into policy for all visiting groups to follow these protocols, during hours where children are in the building. Evening events, where it is strictly adults, we will continue to follow Tri-County for their recommendation. It is advised to wear masks at all times.
As of 9/1/2021 The Cherry Creek School District will now require ALL students and staff inside ALL school buildings to wear a mask. This universal mask requirement is for all students, adults and visitors to school buildings and applies to all grades – PreK, elementary, middle and high school. The order goes into effect Wednesday, Sept. 1.
Mask requirement is most important during BECC (Bethany Early Childhood Center) hours, as persons could interact in the hallway with our youngest ones who are not able to be vaccinated.
During evening hours as multiple groups may be in the building masks should be worn in all common places.
If there are small groups of fully vaccinated adults in a confined location BLC is OK if all agree to be unmasked.
BLC equates a performance outside of BECC hours with how BLC handles worship: Masks are recommended for the audience, even encouraged.
BLC would request from a group that desires to perform without wearing masks that they state in their advertising that they will do so, and to state if all performers are required to be vaccinated. BLC feels that this is reasonable for their audience, as well as respectful of Bethany as a venue.
BLC Follows the Cherry Creek School districts and Tri-County Health policies.
